If the subject of an article changes or additional information emerges after your original story is published, you may need to write a follow-up piece. Follow-ups should be treated as new stories, using the inverted pyramid structure that puts the most important information first and includes quotes and more context at the bottom.
Use full names for all first references, unless there is compelling reason to use initials only (such as in captions). Don’t jar readers with abrupt switches between first and second person.
